Registration, Admission and Entry to the School.
We hope everyone is having a great summer. Time really flies, and it's already time to kick off another Tamil school year. We wanted to reach out and give you all an update on what's happening.

As you all know, we will be starting this year Tamil School as online and in-person (from 2nd term) based on the church availability. Tamil School will be on Saturdays between 2 PM and 4 PM.
Book/School supplies distribution / Evaluation will be on - 8/18/2024 (Sunday) - Place: Hamilton East Public Library, 5 Municipal Dr, Fishers, IN 46038 - Time: 2 PM
Tamil School classes start date - 8/24/2024 (Saturday) onwards.

1. மாணவர் CTA சேர்க்கை பதிவு - CTA Website Registration
This is very important that you register your kids at CTA website. New students, Returning students and Returning students after a break, all need to register again for 2024-25 at CTA website.
Please follow the above link and register your kid(s) in California Tamil Academy website. Fill ONLY the mandatory fields (with *). Minimum age for admission - 5 Years as of 31-Aug-2024 for KG. Complete the details as accurate as possible. For all the kids, please enter both the parents emails and phone numbers during the registration.
You can use the new parent, new student, option if you think that is the way you can complete it. This will not affect your kids grade or registration. If you have previous CTA website credentials, you can use it. Again, you don't have to fill the correct grade and we will fill it correctly once new students evaluation complete or based on the returning students school record.
a. Please make sure you have "Tamil School of Central Indiana" under School name if not select from the list.
b. Leave the grade as "EVALUATION" (New students) and "EVALUATION or select grade that is available in the dropdown box". We will assign correct grade after you have confirmed that your kid is registered.
c. The registration will ask for volunteer, and check appropriate box that you want to volunteer. It is mandatory that you check at least one box.
d. Please send an email (to tamilkalvi@gmail.com) with kid(s) name(s) after completing the registration for us to assign the correct grade and confirm the payment.
e. If you have any issues during your CTA registration (new or returning students), please email to tamilkalvi@gmail.com.
2. Payments Details:
Once you have registered your child(ren), please proceed with payment using one of the methods below ($120/Student). School supplies/books and e-book access will be provided after payment validation. Please ensure payment completion promptly to avoid any delays in your child(ren) starting at the Tamil School of Central Indiana.
1. Zelle payment - Zelle payment can be sent to - jayapradha.nammalwar@
2. Square payment - Square payment includes $5 processing fee. $125/Student
3. Check payment - Checks will be accepted ($120/Student) only on 8/18/2024 during evaluation/book distribution day. After this day, either Zelle or Square payments only.
3. Evaluation Topic:
- Evaluation is required for all new students aged 6 years and above (80% marks required on the evaluation)
- Returning students who are seeking to go to a higher grade must take evaluation to be placed in a higher grade and they should meet the minimum age limit criteria (Advanced placement needs 95% in current grade and evaluation grade)

We want to highlight that we currently have a notable shortage of volunteers for Tamil school, and we sincerely value your commitment to serving throughout the entire year, if feasible, in the roles you find interesting. Please register using the link provided above/below.
